Swathi Sasidharan, a professional Computer engineer has been dreaming in letters since her young age. She is from Trivandrum district, Kerala, South India.
She was working in Kerala from 1995 to 1999 before moving to Ireland in 2005. She migrated to Ireland after marrying .. a computer engineer,.
She is actively working in the R and D area of the telecom domain in an MNC in Ireland. Currently, she is on extended leave. She is blessed with two children - Adwika (7) and Anwita (4).
Swathi started her ambitions in letters by blogging in English in 2005 in Yahoo!360. She experimented with blogging in Malayalam (in Facebook) since June 2017.
Her several Malayalam online articles got published in Asianetnews.com, iemalayalam.com, Madhyamam online, usamalayalee.com and in print in Metro Kerala. She is also a regular English weekly columnist in jwalanam (jwalanam.in) online weekly.
One of her first Malayalam short stories “Karayan kazhiyatha penkutti” (The girl who couldn’t cry), came in print in the collection of short-stories - “Otta charadile Pattangal.” in March 2018.
In April 2018, her another Malayalam short story- “Jeevithathinte Thulassu”- The scale of life, was also published in the short story collection ‘Pennadayalangal.” by current books.
Her long-term ambition is to become a bilingual writer in Malayalam and English.
