Brighter English Grammar written by Jose Chandanappally is a very good, but simplified book written in 26 lessons in 228 pages.lt is a great help to students of English language. English has become a world language because of British Empire and you have to learn it to become a world citizen. But interestingly English is easy to learn. Through Sanskrit it is difficult to master Panini’s “Ashtadhyayi“. It take 8 years to master Sanskrit. Latin take 4 years. English can be mastered in 30 days. Jose Chandanappally have done that simply in this Brighter English Grammar. Lesson 3- Parts of Speech is very good, 8 Parts of Speech are of 3 groups-Noun Group -Noun, Adjective, and Pronoun, Verb Group-Verb, Adverb, Junction Group-Preposition, Conjunctions and Interjections He could easily master it in Lessons 3 to12. Explanation of verbs in11, 15 and Tenses in12,13,14 are good. lesson 21- Kinds of Sentences are equally good. 4 types of writing is explained well.lesson 22 Dialogue writing, lesson 23- Writing stories from Outlines, lesson 24-Precis writing, lesson 25- letter writing are exemplary. It will enable students to learn writing and win examinations. I wish the book all success. Let students learn from the book and pass examinations in flying success.
