This is not a 'Sachar' book, but an earnest attempt to search Kerala in the light of Rajinder Sachar Committee's report on the backwardness of minorities in India [2006]. The book also wants to see to it that the Committee is not the beginning of an end. The problems faced by the religious and linguistic minorities and Dalits don't have one and the same dimension in all states of the country.
