The book Samapathum Adhikaravum is the first ever-academic history of Thrissur. Beginning from 5th century B.C. it examines the economic, social and cultural history of the region up to the close of the 18th century A.D. It has 13 chapters with detailed notes, appendices and maps including 48 colour pictures representing some of the finest sculptures and murals of pre-modern Thrissur.
